September 3, 2024New FeatureGift

New Feature

  • new general game map, so you can see all the locations mentioned in the game. Be sure to check our Fan Page for more details, and where a cool (and VERY useful) gift also awaits you inside the post text, as a Coupon Code you can claim from inside the game. And, don’t forget to LIKE and SHARE if you like the game map, and for more gifts!
    – you can see the general game map by clicking on the Map > Moonwater Valley Map.
    – there is also a new Quest that gives a nice reward if you find all areas on the map, by simply hovering over them. Quest appears if you have unlocked all regular Orders locations (Supermarket, Restaurant, Port, etc.). This is update 1/3. Next update will follow very soon.

Upcoming Feature

  • as mentioned in an earlier News update, Trees will have a limited lifespan, just like all Crops. They will function more or less like the Shrubs.
    Advantages:
    – you will be able to plant other Trees too. Now, if you bought only 1 type of Tree, you’re stuck with it. Yes, you can delete them, but deleting Trees is not a fun way to play.
    – Trees will have a Tree Bed (just like any other plant bed). If you already have Trees, the beds will automatically be there when you cut the Tree down. You will be able to use Multitool for Trees, that will make replanting them a breeze.
    – you will get many new types of wood: Apple Tree Log, Cherry Tree Log, Olive Tree Log, etc.
    – prices will be adjusted, so you will recuperate your investment in the Trees much faster.
    Disadvantages:
    – you will have to plant new Trees, but that will take about 30 seconds with the Multitool.
August 1, 2024New Feature

New Features

  • new game beginning: new players will start from scratch on a new farm, with land patches similar to Bellflower Meadow. They will have the “pleasure” of meeting Lance, Frank’s knucklehead cousin, for a little while. The total land will be identical, and the total price in coins is the same as for existing players. As a token of our appreciation for you, such long time players of the game, you will too get all the shiny new stuff: a Hatchback with a broken oil pan, an old Camper, a shoddy Rain Shelter, and a pile of maple logs. Where to put them? See below. Also, be sure to check our Fan Page for more details, and where a cool (and VERY useful) gift also awaits you inside the post text, as a Coupon Code you can claim from inside the game. And, don’t forget to LIKE and SHARE if you like the new buildings, Joe’s Energy naps, and for more gifts!
  • NEW FEATURE: Joe can regenerate 40% of his baseline Energy while sleeping in the Camper or Rain Shelter, and another 40% while sleeping on any bed from the Log Cabin. Resets daily. He doesn’t sleep in your Farmhouse, as that’s your home, and he’s only a guest there.
  • 2 new land plots for your farm, available to buy only if you bought all other areas: Sunrise Ledge and Ridgeview Trail, with the prices being very expensive and extremely very expensive, respectively, and they don’t increase the Max Limits with anything. You don’t really need these, but if you need a little extra space and already rolling in coins, they might prove useful. For players without Max Limits, these expansions work just like Yards (you can’t place crops or shrubs on them).
  • the Stone Path in Bellflower Meadow can now be rearranged, and some sections can be added to Warehouse. So, if you removed the big rocks and are annoyed by the path’s wavy pattern, you can make it any shape you like, but the path’s gotta be there. We got a letter from the Woodburn Town Hall, and they said people visiting Bellflower Meadow gotta stay hydrated. We know, it wasn’t even working in the beginning, and YOU were the one who repaired that fountain. Bureaucracy…
  • Joe can now cut the 4 Poplars near the Stone Path from Bellflower Meadow, that sit in front of your land there. But, since they’re kind of protected, it will be extremely difficult, as they require 9 Tree Permits each.
  • new sound engine for your Farm, Factories and Water Sawmill: no more invisible dogs barking. You will hear the sounds of all things centered on your game window. If you zoom in on your chickens, you will hear plenty of chickens. If you zoom out, all sounds on your farm will whisper far below, and you will only hear the soothing sound of the high altitude winds. We think it is much better, and you should give it a try if you play with sounds off. No music needed, just ambient the sounds and sound effects.
  • added water ripple effects for all areas – now all areas with a river or a lake have water ripples that move faster in the areas where the river flows faster, and in any direction on the lakes.
  • added waterfall animations in Bellflower Meadow, along with animations for the Willow Tree.
  • the bottom right river shore on your farm has now more contrast and plants on the lower side of the river, to avoid confusion when Joe says he can’t go through there.
  • now you can view your Neighbors Herbs Garden plants when you visit them.
  • Neighbor Key is now also showing in your Farmer Profile tab, where you can also copy it from.
  • improved Max Capacity description when distributing points for farm limits.
  • improved Foraging Spree on all areas: now all the foraging plants and flowers appear much faster (they sound like making popcorn), and with a new growing effect.
  • updated Beatrice’s farm (old Bees farm).
  • added a general toggle for transparency of tall objects that includes both Trees and Gear. You can still toggle transparency separately for them.
  • new way of showing that you have News, with a red circle above the menu, so you can read it at your own convenience.

Fixes

  • fixed Tabby Cat not following Joe when traveling to new area.
  • fixed Tabby Cat display glitch when put inside Farmhouse.
  • fixed sort Neighbors by daily player option not being saved at refresh.
  • fixed Mailbox closing when clicked to view Letters.
  • fixed peek behind tall objects not working correctly when activated on already toggled trees.
  • fixed game freeze when using seeder and not having enough coins to plant shrubs, herbs or potted plants.
  • fixed Blue Dot in Bellflower Meadow to not guide to items in expansions not purchased.
  • fixed occasionally game freeze when traveling from Bellflower Meadow to other areas.
  • fixed trees planting black area glitch in Bellflower Meadow when coming from your Farm.
  • fixed level 1 showing on Business Card for players with level > 250.
  • fixed a 5111 sync error when changing products in Solar Dryer while producing.
June 4, 2024Improvements
  • Plots to work supercharged! Now the 1-4-9 multitool harvests EVERYTHING in one go! Trees, Crops, Shrubs, Grapevines, Potted Plants and yes, even the Herbs. Planting also works for all categories. And don’t worry, the popup for Rotten Apples still works, so you won’t harvest Apples by mistake before they drop Rotten Apples.
  • updated the Competitions prizes so they reflect exactly what you will get, for the super special 100 Anniversary. (OMG, it’s 100 already!). The Statues won’t replace the Trophies, they’re EXTRA. AND, as a surprise, and because a farmer commented on the page that more Salt is needed, the Peacock Statues will give a few Salt and Pepper for 2 weeks for your Neighbors, if you win any of them! This way, we hope nobody will get spicy if they don’t win these 3 statues.
  • performance improvements: due to recently upgrading the game engine, we were able to find and optimize some memory issues that could cause grey/white screens for some players, and also improve some aspects of the game. The issues affected very few players, and now we are seeing them decreased by half. Generally, the game occupies 20% less in the browser’s video memory than it did before.
  • bug fixes:
    – the quantity in the Barn doesn’t remain selected in black when hovering over the Barn item.
    – fixed grass/sap taps/woods not showing in BfM when cleared by Joe.
    – daily reward pause counter now resets yearly – happy summer vacations!
    – fixed Barn item total value not showing the correct coins amount when hovering over them.
    – fixed Poplars not appearing in Bellflower Meadow.
May 25, 2024New FeatureGift
  • new Crops and Achievements! Be sure to check our Fan Page for more details, and where a cool (and useful) gift also awaits you inside the post text, as a Coupon Code you can claim from inside the game. And, don’t forget to LIKE and SHARE if you like the new Crops and Achievements, and for more gifts!
  • bug fixes:
    – feeding Ducks now counts towards Daily Tasks.
    – fixed out of sync when trying to place the picnic basket outside the farm.
    – fixed daily tasks synchronisation issue when reloading the game.
    – fixed game freeze when moving the Kitchen / Craft Shack while producing.
    – fixed out of sync when claiming Fertilizer prize from Competitions.
    – fixed Water Sawmill Bushes sometimes reappearing after being cut.
    – fixed Water Sawmill popup sometimes not opening.
    – fixed Charity Order sometimes not appearing when countdown finishes.
    – fixed out of sync when trying to place Trophies outside the farm.
April 25, 2024New Feature
  • new feature! Fast Travel with Joe to all areas of the map!
    – you access this new feature by clicking on the World Map icon. There is a new popup there, in addition to the old one (cycle through them from the bottom circles in the popup). From there, you choose where you want to go with Joe, click on the place, and you will be taken there!
    – Fast Travel requires extra energy compared to what you would normally use. So, you will have to balance convenience with Energy use. Depending on how far you travel, it will be either 1 Energy, or 2 Energy extra.
    – from the same menu, you can call the Truck to the farm, but you have to be in either Bellflower Meadow or your farm. You can now also call the Truck to Bellflower Meadow, when you are there!
  • changes for the menu that appears when you hover over the World Map button:
    – removed Call Tyrone (Truck), because you can call it directly from the new popup.
added Find Tabby Cat button (appears only if you have a Tabby Cat).
    – removed Go to BfM, because you can go there through the new popup, and it was confusing there, because it lacked context.
This way, the hover menu is only for finding Joe, Tabby Cat and Conan, simplifying the concept. Also, accidental clicks that would use up Fuel are avoided.
  • bug fixes:
    – fixed a bug where the old World Map popup could increase the browser memory if you open it many times.
    – fixed a bug where you would get an out of sync error when placing fences on the farm.
    – fixed a bug where you couldn’t turn some sounds on/off from the right menu.
April 18, 2024New FeatureImprovements
  • added the possibility to automatically place Bacon in the Factories and Water Sawmill areas through the Skip button from the Quest popup, for players who don’t want to go to those areas to place Bacon.
  • improved the animations for the ducks and their behaviors. Now the ducks gather in flight formation and attack the fox to scare it away.
  • added the Enchanted Path Collection to the Collections tab, for those who completed this Contest.
  • added possibility to toggle through the pillars flowers for the big marble arch, for players who completed that Craft Shack Contest 2 or 3 times.
  • added a Special Order for the 4 products you make with duck feathers and down. It should be completed in about 3 days, with 3 feathers/down collects/day.
  • in the quest subtitle, it says “The fox would have found the nest anyway. By speeding up the process, you’ll get some products as a bonus!
    – by speeding up, we meant placing the Bacon, so that the fox is guided to your farm. We didn’t mean by clicking on the Skip for RC button, as we wouldn’t condition such thing on RC.
    – by some products as a bonus, we meant the duck feathers and down.
We got a few messages enquiring about this. The quest text was added many days ago, when the whole duck idea wasn’t so clearly polished. So who are we to contradict you? 🙂 Here’s a Coupon Code with a few bonus products: DCKSPD7
April 4, 2024Event
  • Easter / Spring Deals – 90% Sale! Starring Azalea, Pig Shade, pink Rabbit Barrel House and Lipstick on a pig.
  • edited a few things for clarity, based on your feedback:
  • renamed the FSP Silo to Grain Gauge, to avoid any confusion between the Farmer Skill Points popup and the Silo on your farm.
renamed grains from the Grain Gauge to Skill Grains, to avoid any confusion between the grains you have in your Barn and the Farmer Skill Points popup.
renamed Freesia Orange to Freesia Red.
  • updated the Farmer Skill Points article based on your feedback.
  • for players who completed the Craft Shack Contest, now the marble decorations (3 arches and 2 path elements) are unlocked and available to be purchased from the Decorations tab. You will get all the decorations that make up the Enchanted Springtime Promenade –  the 11 marble ones (including the unique large arch with flowers) plus the 11 crafted items, when the Event ends, when they will be added to your Warehouse.
April 1, 2024Event
  • The Grand Prize is changed to rubber ducks, because rubbed ducks are way more resilient than real ducks, even though they are not as tasty. As you know, there is a fleet of rubber ducks from a shipwreck that still roams the oceans. The scientists are tracking them around the world, as an useful tool to see how the ocean currents are going. To help the scientists, we’ve also changed the Easter jelly beans you collect to rubber ducks, and we will put them on a big boat that we will sink in the Pacific, near the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, where some of the ducks will eat the Patch and then fly away into the white balloon clouds, and the remaining rubber ducks will keep patrolling.
  • use the Coupon Code RBDHEYZ to get the extra 5 Deco Planter Kits we wrote on the Facebook page. Initially there were 15 kits, but we later modified it to 10 Kits, but Facebook didn’t save our latest version (even after we refreshed).
  • we’ve added a popup to inform all players that the materials from Bellflower Meadow are available in Tyrone’s Market Stand. This fact was mentioned in the help article, but we should have added the popup from the beginning. NOTE: we will ALWAYS make the Events available for everybody, even if they don’t have BfM, as we strongly want everybody to feel welcomed playing the game.

❄️ 🎅 Happy Halloween! 🎄☃️

🐣  Happy Easter from the CLM team! 🌷

March 25, 2024New FeatureGift
  • New features! Farmer Skill Points can finally be earned, and Joe can have Infinite Energy… for about 25 minutes! Be sure to check our Fan Page for more details, and where a cool (and very useful) gift also awaits you inside the post text, as a Coupon Code you can claim from inside the game. And, don’t forget to LIKE and SHARE if you like what FSP does, and for more gifts!

Many of you wrote us that there is a lot to do with Joe, and you never feel it’s enough Energy, no matter what you do. This is our solution, as a way to finally have that feeling of completion, from time to time.

Simply increasing the Energy would have been very easy, but it would make you feel that you are required to do all activities with Joe, and might start feeling like a chore. Our aim is to keep the game enjoyable and light-hearted, offering you different activities to choose from, so you can enjoy the game without feeling overwhelmed.

    – everything there is to know about Farmer Skill Points (FSP), Infinite Energy and Max Capacity you can find here: https://clm.beetree.games/help/general-gameplay/farmer-skill-points
    – Farm Limits has been renamed to Max Capacity, to better reflect its usage.
we have a NEW and MUCH simpler way of customizing your Max Capacity (the old Farm Limits panel was a complicated mess), with sliders and visual cues, proper for a farming game.
    – you can add 2 FSP to the Max Capacity Buffer (see above link for details), and the rest (or all) you can use to activate Infinite Energy for any one of Joe’s skills. To do so, Joe must have that skill maxed out to 10 points.
    – simplified Joe’s Skills popup, and enhanced a few graphical elements.

  • 2 NEW Backpacks! To compliment the Infinite Energy feature, two new Backpacks are available, called Expedition and Alaska. Expedition Backpack is 39 RC, and the Alaska Backpack has a $6.99 Deal that also contains some extra Specials.
  • IMPORTANT note regarding payments:
    – there have been an increasing number of issues lately with Facebook payments. Specifically, there’s a Facebook bug doesn’t tell us if the payment went through or not. The way it normally works, Facebook tells us the payment went through, and we instantly send you the goods. The way we see it, when you make the payment, you instantly should get and use your goods. The incidents we have are very rare, but we’d still prefer to have an 100% trouble-free experience, and this simply isn’t an aspect we can control.
    – we made the Web Portal because we encountered lots of issues with Facebook, and so that you have where to play when Facebook is down. Please also consider this fact.
  • due to recent Facebook outages and payment issues, we improved the login process on our Web Portal. And, if your Facebook is down and you can’t access your farm and completed your CLM Profile, please log in from the Web Portal.
  • we will soon send our first email, other than the on-demand ones you get when you ask to reset the password, etc. Since we hate spam as much as you do, and the idea of someone somewhere being hired full time just to come up daily with silly spam ideas and “news” for the unfortunate email recipients, we will send these very rarely (with the “super clever” goal of hoping you don’t forget about the game), and all our emails will have a Coupon Code inside them.
  • we will discontinue Faster Farming and Sell from Barn ticket in about 3 weeks. So, if you happen to still have these items, please use them while you still can.
  • fixed Joe stopping harvesting/planting in Bellflower Meadow.
  • fixed Tyrone’s delivery deals not showing when sending an Order without collecting the previous reward.
  • fixed Shop not displaying correct information for Pastry Oven after it was added from Warehouse.
  • fixed Flower Shop not saving selection for slot .

Easter Event will follow very soon.

Happy farming!
