Emerald Beach

Quick Links:

How do I get to Emerald Beach?

First, you have to find Emerald Beach on the World Map.

Click your Map icon at the lower left and find Emerald Beach (it’s to the right of Cypress Grove).

For the quest about Emerald Beach to show, you must be at least level 45, completed the quest “Blocked Road” in Cypress Grove, and bought the following properties in CG: Citrus Orchard, Dry Patch, and Salty Soil.

Discover Emerald Beach with Joe (& Tyrone)

Next, you have to use Joe to discover the Emerald Beach area. How to do that? Just get Joe and Tyrone to Cypress Grove.

In Cypress Grove, Joe will talk with Tyrone about finding a solution to get on the other side of the mountain. It seems like the solution is Dynamite, and Joe has to call the Mayor to get it. Joe informs the Mayor that Tyrone has the FEP credentials to use the Dynamite, then the Mayor says the Town Council can be persuaded to allow her to give Joe the Dynamite, but only if you send some really fresh produce their way.

Fresh Produce for the Town Hall

Next, a Quest Chapter will appear, with 10 Quests you have to complete. The Quests are numbered, starting with number 1, A Juicy Bribe. Please note that some Quests will require finishing the previous task first before you can move to the next one.

Complete a Quest in the Chapter and the next one will appear.

The Orders you have to deliver will appear on the left side of the Orders Board.

For the last Quest, Explosive Taste, click on the Crate that appears inside the Orders Board to add 10 Gold Starred fruits. If you need help with how to get Silver and Gold Fruit and Vegetables, CLICK HERE.

After you send the last Order, click to collect the reward, that will include the 5 Dynamite Sticks (they go to your Warehouse).

Load the Dynamite in the Truck and Drive to Cypress Grove

Click your Truck, click Load, then find the Dynamite Sticks in your Warehouse. Click Load.

And drive to Cypress Grove. Next, Joe will have to place the 5 Dynamite Sticks.

Then, the Big Bang happens, after which the rocks will clear up and you can continue driving with Tyrone to Emerald Beach.

Emerald Beach

Once in Emerald Beach, Joe will get a quest.

1. Clear the remaining road from all the vegetation

(NEW) Click & Hold on a clearable item and Joe will fully clear it.

Click & Hold until the bar fully loads, then release the button and Joe will automatically clear the rocks/vegetation. Make sure you have the “Click Locking” option checked (it’s in Settings, page 3).

Center image: click and hold until the bar fully loads, then release.

As Joe is clearing the road, the vegetation and stones he picks up will go into his Backpack. He can then unload the contents of his Backpack in the Truck, which is your “Barn” in Emerald Beach.

In case you need help with upgrading Joe’s Axe and Pickaxe, click HERE, Joe’s Backpack click HERE, and to increase Truck storage, click HERE.

If Joe is too far away from the Truck, he will have to get closer to empty the contents of his Backpack, just like in Cypress Grove.

If you need help in finding all 20 vegetation, click the Hint button at the left side of the task.

The Hint button is your friend 🙂

Also, remember to use the Blue Dot / Red Dot to see where the loot Joe has to pick up is located.

After Joe clears the road, Tyrone will advance with his Truck.

2. Buy the “La Palma” Plot

Now keep clearing the vegetation in front of the Truck with Joe, and you will come across the first patch of land you can buy. Call Dona Camila, then click the Land Sign to buy the La Palma plot for 30,000 Coins.

Unfortunately, the plot is overrun with thick vegetation and some Banana Trees, so you have to clear the land first. Remember to click the Hint button so you see the vegetation that’s still left to clear on the land, and an outline of the correct land area for a short while. This is important because the tasks (including planting the Banana Trees and collecting) have to completed within this specific land patch. Work done on other land lots will not count.

The Hint button is the blue magnifying glass at the left side of the task.

Also, please note that the next tasks are greyed out, so you’ll need to complete each task before moving on to the next one.

Finish the “La Palma” quest by planting 10 Banana Trees (don’t forget to add Tree Beds if needed), and collect 100 Bananas.

Fertilizer

You can use Fertilizer to speed up the growth of trees, whether by buying it from the Shop or by bringing it over with the Truck. When on your Farm, click on your Truck, then click Load, then go to your Warehouse, and Load the Fertilizer.

In Emerald Beach, open the Truck storage (icon at the  bottom-right, since the Truck is your “Barn” in Emerald Beach) and choose the “Other Stuff” tab. Then place the Fertilizer bags.

Machete

On this land lot, Joe will also find a Field Machete, which is really useful to cut down all the vegetation using less Energy than the Axe. If you plan to activate Infinite Energy, know that the Machete counts for the Logging option there (the one with the Axe).

The Field Machete is a Level 0 Machete. You can upgrade to the Trail Machete (Level 1), and Bushmaster Machete (Level 2) in the Engineering shack. Joe automatically equips the first of each Machete upgrade you make. If you need help with upgrading your Tools, CLICK HERE.

3. Buy “Vega de Cacao”

Next, head towards the Vega de Cacao plot to buy it. Clear it, plant some Cocoa Trees, then harvest some Cocoa to finish the quest. If you’ve reached your limit for Trees, harvest the existing Cocoa Trees (you can use Fertilizer), then you should be able to replant.

Now get Joe to continue in that direction until he reaches the Water Channel.

4. Buy “Llanos de Niebla”

On his way to the Water Channel, Joe will come across Llanos de Niebla, which he can buy for 700,000 Coins.

Now is as good as time as any that we recommend you hide trees, for a clearer picture.

5. The Water Channel | Flooded Field | Rice

Click repeatedly on the green circle and Joe will start digging.

Keep clicking until he finishes all the phases of digging the Water Channel.

Hover with your mouse cursor over the Flooded Field, and click the shovel icon to extend the Floodable Fields irrigation system.

Keep digging the 20 more Flooded Fields that are requested. Note that the plots must be connected. Then, you can start planting Rice.

6. Buy “Sierra Manteca”

Next up, it’s time for the Sierra Manteca plot of land, which can be purchased for 650,000 Coins. You will of course have to clear all the wild vegetation, then plant 9 Avocado Trees, and harvest 100 Avocados. You can use Fertilizer to grow the existing ones before you cut them.

7. Buy “Altiplano Aroma”

Just below Sierra Manteca and next to the Truck is the Altiplano Aroma land, which you can buy for 1,500,000 Coins.

8. Buy “Verde Claro”

Verde Claro is the name of the plot that’s just below the Truck, and you can get it for 1,000,000 Coins.

You have to clear it to make room for 10 Mango Trees, and 10 Sugarcane.

9. Buy “Costa Palmera”

The Costa Palmera plot goes for 2,500,000 Coins and can be found if Joe goes horizontally from the Truck.

Again, Joe has to clear the wild vegetation, but he also has to plant a grove of Coconut Trees. The issue is that Joe can’t cut Peach Palms yet. To enable that, make sure to pick up the Peach Palm Fruit Cluster that’s right below Costa Palmera.

Pick up the Peach Palm Fruit Cluster to enable cutting Peach Palms.

10. Buy “La Pinalera”

One more lot to buy, just below Costa Palmera you can find La Pinalera, for 1,700,000 Coins. Clear it, then plant and harvest 100 Pineapples.

Seashells

When Joe finally reaches the Beach, he will find Silica Sand and Seashells near the water’s edge.
