Cypress Grove is a new map area you can explore, forage, and even buy land in.
Key points for Cypress Grove
- You can only plant certain Crops (Lentils, Artichoke, Agretti), Shrubs (Pomegranate) or Trees (Orange Tree, Lemon Tree, Olive Tree), that are suitable for this Mediterranean climate. For this reason, Trees grow 15% faster in Cypress Grove than on your farm.
- There are 8 plots of land available to buy, totalling 70 crops, 45 shrub beds, and no less than 60 tree beds!
- You need to purchase the central one first, then you can purchase the remaining 7 in any order you like.
- The first 3 plots of land are really accessible, allowing everybody to have a decent quantity of trees, mainly.
- You can check if your Crops and Trees are ready in Cypress Grove from the new “Fast Travel with Joe” menu, by clicking on the tiny Pomegranate.
- Also, we added this menu for other areas of the map too, in the other tiny islands, where available.
- 17 new Quests are available for this area. Some activate when you purchase the land.
- If you can’t cut a plant, it means it’s because it’s protected, so that the species doesn’t die out.
- New foraging areas where Joe can get wild herbs like Thyme, Purple Sage, Rosemary, Oregano, and Lavender.
Attention!
- If you use Rain 100% on your Farm or Bellflower Meadow, it will work just as before, growing all the plants on your Farm and in Bellflower Meadow
- if you use Rain 100% in Cypress Grove, it will grow all the plants in Cypress Grove ONLY.
- there is a new type of Rain that works EVERYWHERE, called Monsoon Rain. It is activated once every third time you use Rain 100%. You can use it instead of Rain 100%, and it costs the same, 25RC. So, it’s Rain 100%, Rain 100%, Monsoon Rain, Rain 100%, and so on…
How do I get to Cypress Grove?
The chance to travel to Cypress Grove starts at level 35 with the quest Get Zesty.
Click on the Map at the lower-left side of the screen, then on the Cypress Grove stop to drive there for 1 Fuel.
Cypress Grove Basics
Once in Cypress Grove, Joe will have receive two more quests: to clear all the clouds and discover all 8 available plots you can purchase, and clear all the weeds and stones on the road — and get a Fuel reward at the end.
While exploring the areas, Joe will unlock more and more quests.
As Joe is clearing the road, the vegetation and stones he picks up will go into his Backpack. He can then unload the contents of his Backpack in the Truck, which is your storage in Cypress Grove.
In case you need help with upgrading Joe’s Backpack click HERE, and to increase Truck storage, click HERE.
If Joe is too far away from the Truck, he will have to get closer to empty the contents of his Backpack, just like with the Old Shack in BfM.
To follow the road more accurately and see what’s behind those really tall Italian Cypress trees, remember you can toggle the visibility of trees from Settings.
Also, remember to use the Blue Dot / Red Dot to see where the loot Joe has to pick up is.
Buying Land
While clearing the road, you will come across the first patch of land you can buy, Citrus Orchard, which is available for 25,000 Coins.
How do I call the Truck from Cypress Grove back to my Farm?
Just open the World Map and click under your farm for the “Drive with the Truck to” menu.

You can also use Joe to travel to and from Cypress Grove through a place called Syklark Crossroads — which is located in the Northern part of Cypress Grove (where the truck is), and to the Southern side of your farm.

I don’t have BfM, can I still go to Cypress Grove?
Yes. Please note that if you haven’t picked up the tools in BfM, you can get a Shovel, Axe and Pickaxe from the Citrus Orchard land lot in Cypress Grove. To buy it, click the land sign.
Important: These tools are Level 1 tools that will allow you to clear small rocks, bushes, and other vegetation. To cut the bigger trees and break the larger rocks, you will have to buy BfM and complete some quests there before you can upgrade the Axe and Pickaxe to Level 3.
