Decorative Grasses were first introduced to the game with Black Mondo Grass. More varieties were later added as prizes and deals during the Autumn Event 2025.
What’s special about Decorative Grasses?
Unlike most seeds, Decorative Grass seeds appear in both your Shop and your Barn. These are the same seeds, not two separate inventories.
This means that if you plant all the seeds of a particular Decorative Grass, it will disappear from your Barn as well.
Decorative Grasses multiply
Like Glass Gem Corn, Decorative Grasses can multiply when harvested. They will gradually increase in quantity until you reach a maximum of around 50–55 seeds.
For example, if you plant the 20 seeds you got in the seed box, you may harvest around 30. By continuing to plant and harvest them, you can gradually increase your supply until you reach the maximum.
Decorative Grasses are not intended to be highly profitable. Their main purpose is exactly what their category suggests: decorating your Farm.
How do I plant Decorative Grasses?
To plant Decorative Grasses:
- Open your Shop.
- Go to the Seeds tab.
- Select Decorative Grasses from the dropdown menu.
- Click the green Plant button.
- Plant them anywhere on your Farm where you have free space.
Important!!! Do not click on a Crop Plot to plant Decorative Grasses. Clicking on a plot only shows plants that can be grown on Crop Plots, such as regular crops.
Decorative Grasses must be planted directly on free space on your Farm — not on Crop Plots, Shrub Beds, or Grapevine Beds.
I accidentally sold all my Decorative Grasses. How do I buy more?
Don’t worry! If you sell all the seeds of a Decorative Grass, you can buy a new seed from your Shop for 2 RC.
You can then plant and harvest it again to multiply your supply, gradually building it back up to the maximum of around 50–55 seeds.
