Winter Event 2024

The Winter Event 2024 appears as an icon at the top-right part of your game window, and is scheduled for 15 days.

The Winter Event 2024

Click the icon and place the Snowfrost Dining Glasshouse above the pond to start the event.

Then, click on the event icon to open the event and see what you have to do.

What are the Prizes?

The big prize for the Winter Event 2024 are Baby Chicks!

Additional prizes for the Winter Event 2024

  • The Snowfrost Dining Glasshouse if you finish the Make Winter Recipes part of the event. Complete the recipes part of the event a second time, and you’ll win a Persian rug for the Glasshouse. Plus, you’ll get to place another table inside your Farmhouse, accompanied by green tabourets.
  • 4 Hellebores — unlock a new one while completing the Holiday Quests that are part of the event.

To earn the Baby Chicks, you have to complete all 3 Winter Events.

1. Harvest Crops

Harvest crops daily to and find Holiday Candies that you can trade for OP after the event ends.

A minimum of 349 Holiday Candies are required to finish the 1st part of the Winter Event 2024.

Click on the Holiday Candies to pick them up.

Using Rain to instantly grow crops gives extra Holiday Candies.

The event is created so that a normal player who plants their plots in the morning, for example, and harvests them in the evening, can find all Holidays Candies if they play daily during the event.

We reward additional daily harvests with some extra Holidays Candies, as mentioned before, the use of Rain, regardless of how many times a player harvests per day.

After your “day” resets you will get more Holidays Candies on your harvest. One “day” is 20 hours since you collected your first Holidays Candies the previous day — so it resets based on your own schedule.

2. Make Winter Recipes

Make Winter Recipes in your Farm Kitchen and discover all 9 types from this collection!

Once you complete the collection, you can keep the Winter Recipes table.

We hope the gifts from the Coupon Code in our latest post on the Fan Page will make it easier for you to complete it. They also include Agretti, Artichokes, and Lentils, for players who haven’t visited Cypress Grove yet.

There are also recipes requiring Portobello mushrooms. Joe cam forage for the mushrooms around the farm IF he has studied the plates. You can also get the mushrooms from Tyrone’s market stand, but you can use them only if Joe has studied the Portobello mushroom plates.

  • How it works: when you make 8 of the first Winter Recipe, the Agretti Sauteed with Pancetta, the 8th recipe will be added to the table (it is considered you practiced making it until you created a perfect looking one). This will unlock the next recipe, the Artichoke Lentil Stew.
  • In order for farmers who are level 22 or higher to complete the Event, we have temporarily lowered the ingredients levels to level 26. After the Event ends, the ingredients, Gear, Trees and Crops will revert to their initial level, and you will get your Coins back through a pop-up window notifying you of this.
  • If you are at a lower level and you complete the Collection, you will keep it in your Collections tab.
  • Finishing the Winter Recipes contest once is enough for it to count for the Winter Event, to make the recipes all year round, and to get the collection in your Collections tab after the event ends. If you restart it a second time, it’s up to you, but the first time will count, so don’t worry. Also, the table will show as full, too, if you finish it, but only after the event ends.

Now, let’s make these recipes in the Farm Kitchen!

To unlock a new Winter Recipe, make the required number of dishes from the previous recipe. Once you make enough, the game will automatically advance you to the next recipe, for convenience. You can see the exact number needed for each dish by hovering your mouse cursor over the recipe in the recipe book.

As you can see, you have to make the first recipe 8 times.

To make 1 Winter Recipe, you will need 1 Christmas Spices Jar.

You can either ask your friends for the Christmas Spices Jars by clicking the “Ask” button in the Farm Kitchen, or ask and purchase bundles from the Shop > Specials tab.

3. Complete Holiday Quests

Complete Winter Daily Quests to collect Hellebores and other gifts!

As usual, quests appear at the top-left of your screen, and this is the first subquest of the first “day of quests”.

Each of the 7 “days” of quests is made up of 3-4 smaller quests (usually in the well-known format: plant, harvest, collect, make). These subquests are numbered if you open up the quest and look at the top-right, under the quest’s description.

You get a new “day of quests” 20 hours after starting your previous daily quests. You can check when your next “day of quests” will begin by opening the Winter Daily Quests menu.

After you finish a day of quests, you can unlock EITHER a new Hellebore type, OR get a bag of fertilizer, alternatively. You can also check how much time there’s left until the next day of quests starts, at the bottom.
