Just as crops need plots, Trees need Tree Beds.
To plant Shrubs, Please select your Tree Bed Plow Tool.
Then, click somewhere on your farm where you have free space.
Trees now work same as Shrubs do, with a lifespan between 9 and 15 harvests. For Oak Trees and Pine Trees, it’s 1 harvest. Here’s where to check for that info.
Trees are now more profitable, meaning that by the time you have to cut them, the value of the fruit in your Barn is higher than the initial cost of the tree. Plus, after the last harvest, you can cut down the tree, and get a nice tree log (to be implemented).
Trees produce a variable amount of fruit, with smaller yields at first, increasing towards the middle of their life cycle — but on average more than the 3 you got before.
Pollinable Trees
Bees can pollinate some of the Trees. To check which ones, there is a filter called “Pollinable” you can find at the bottom-left of the Trees tab. To see at what growth stage the Tree has pollen, click on a Tree and check the Pollen Icon. Below, for Cherry, it says it has pollen at stage 2. Trees have 5 growth stages, with 1 being seeds and 5 being fully grow (ripe for harvesting).
