Explanation
Coins cannot disappear in CLM. However, if you keep planting and harvesting without selling enough of what you produce, you can and will eventually run out of Coins.
But I had millions of Coins!
Yes, but some seeds cost much more to plant than others.
For example, planting 1 plot of:
- Clover costs 15 Coins
- Quinoa costs 923 Coins
If you plant 700 plots, that would cost:
- 10,500 Coins for Clover
- 646,100 Coins for Quinoa
So even if you have millions of Coins, repeatedly planting expensive crops without selling your produce can quickly reduce your available Coins.
How do I get my Coins back?
Think of the Coins shown at the top-left of the screen as cash.
You use that cash to buy and plant seeds. After harvesting, that value is now stored in the products in your Barn.
To turn those products back into Coins โ and make a profit โ you need to sell them using the Train, Truck, or the Market Stand.
What should I sell?
We recommend sorting your Barn by Total Value. This helps you see which products you have the most value invested in and decide what to sell.
You can also hover over “All produce in Barn” in the lower-right corner of your Barn to see the total value of everything currently stored there.
