Pottery Studio and the Clay Pit

In this article, you will find:

Use Clay from the Clay Pit to make up to a thousand Artisan Pots in the all-new Pottery Studio!

Pottery Studio

The Pottery Studio is a new Gear where you can make Artisan Pots all-year round, or special Seasonal Collections, such as the Haunted Path Collection.

You are able to build the Pottery Studio by contracting Sarah after you complete the Clay Pit Quest from Bellflower Meadow.

The Quest for the Clay Pit will appear after you finish building the bridge over the river in front of the Log Cabin.

During the Autumn Event 2025 however, it is directly bought from the Shop, magically built.

The Pottery Studio creates Artisan Pots, and also allows you to take special Orders from pottery connoisseurs that are very specific in their requests. You can create these Pots by accessing the Pottery Studio’s popup:

Artisan Pots

To make Artisan Pots, you need 3 things:

Models – the Pot itself, in 7 various shapes:

Glazes – what color you paint the Pot:

Patterns – what decorations you paint on the Pot:

What are Spectral Samples?

Spectral Samples are the Special Ingredients for the Haunted Pots Collection, available only during the 2025 Autumn Event.

Use Spectral Samples to create beautiful, unique Pots in your Pottery Studio.

Spectral Samples are wildcards that turn into Halloween Patterns at random.

To convert Spectral Samples into Patterns, click on them from inside the Pottery Studio popup. You can Ask your Neighbors for more or buy them directly from there too.

Purchased Spectral Samples will rarely reward a Focus Token, at the moment of purchase.

Gifted Spectral Samples will not reward Focus Tokens.

Pottery Connoisseurs Orders (Coming soon)

An Order from a Connoisseur. Try to replicate it exactly as you see it.

Some people really like Artisan Pots, but are VERY specific in their requirements. They want the EXACT configuration from the photo they send you, or they don’t pay the premium. And by premium, they can pay up to 3 times what the Pot is worth! They also want it in a certain amount of time, so you better have all the materials, and you better get it right.

Send the wrong one and it will be a while until you get an Order from them again. In fact, it’s better not to send a Pot, than send the wrong one.

How do I sell the Pots I make?

Click on the Pottery Shelf, the button bottom left in the Pottery Studio Popup.

Here, click on any Pot to sell it or send the Order with it, if a Connoisseur Order is active.

The Clay Pit

Clay is obtained from the Clay Pit, a particular area in Bellflower Meadow, rich in… Clay.

  • The Clay Pit requires contracting Sarah to build a Crane, and will be ready in 18 hours, costing you 15,000 Coins.
  • Joe will have to dig the Clay Pit. It will require 350 Energy.
  • You will be able to extract Clay daily using Joe, and the task will get increasingly difficult. First Clay will cost 2 Energy, the next one 3 Energy, and so on, up to 12 Energy, and about 50 Clay/day (WIP).

Players who don’t have the Bellflower Meadow expansion can buy Clay daily from the Market Stand.

This is Joe digging up the Clay Pit.

And here’s Joe digging for Clay Bricks. When he gets to 9 Clay Bricks, click to collect.
