Autumn Event 2024 | Scary Sweet

The Autumn Event 2024, called Scary Sweet, appears as an icon at the top-right side of your game window, and is scheduled for 14 days.

Click on the icon at the top right of your game to open the Autumn Event 2024 menu and place the Beekeeper’s Stall in the area highlighted with green just above the pond.

After that, place the 3 x Langstroth Beehives on your Farm — they will be required for part 2 of the event, Make Honey.

We will get back to how to use the Langstroth Beehives and how to make the new Honey types in part 2 below (scroll down). Now, let’s see what the Autumn Event is about.

What are the Prizes?

The big prize for the Autumn Event 2024 is the Pheasant.

To earn the Pheasant you have to complete all 3 Autumn events.

You can also earn a Silo Halloween Theme if you finish the Harvest Crops (1) part of the event, and a Farmhouse Halloween Theme if you finish the Make Honey (2) part — the Regular Honey Collection will suffice for this.

Complete the Premium Honey Collection a SECOND time AND complete the Harvest Crops Contest, and you can unlock the Area 51 Themes for the Barn and Silo.

The Langstroth Beehives can be considered a secondary main prize, of equal value or even bigger than the Pheasant, gameplay-wise if you finish the Make Honey part. If you don’t complete the Honey, the Bees will go back to the regular Bee Skeps, and the Langstroth Beehives will be removed, at the end of the Event.

Please note that only the Themes are included, you will still have to buy the Silo and Farmhouse — if you don’t already have them. When you claim the Themes, they go to Gifts — click “Use” to set them on your Silo or Farmhouse. After that you will be able to change the theme to a different one or the default one with your Themes Tool.

All contests have to be completed in main farm, not BfM or Cypress Grove.

1. Harvest Crops

Harvest crops daily to find Halloween Candies!

A minimum of 349 Candies are required to finish this part of the event.

Using Rain to instantly grow crops gives extra Candies.

Click the Candies to collect them.

The contest is created so that a normal player who plants their plots in the morning, for example, and harvests them in the evening, can find all Candies if they play daily during the event.

We reward additional daily harvests with some extra Halloween Candies. Also, as mentioned before, the use of Rain is rewarded regardless of how many times a player harvests per day.

After your “day” resets you will get more Candies on your harvest. One “day” is 20 hours since you collected your first Candies the previous day — so the “day” resets based on your own schedule.

After the event ends, you will be able to exchange the Candies for OPS.

2. Make Honey

To help you complete the Contest faster, here is this handy

Honey Contest Cheat Sheet

To get the honey type you want and finish the Collection:

  1. Place one Beehive in a corner near 20 empty Plots, (or Shrub Beds, for the Blueberry Honey).
  2. Harvest everything on your farm and don’t plant new Crops.
  3. Plant 20 of the Crop you want Honey from next to the Beehive, or move one type only of the 5 pollinable trees (Chestnut, Orange, Avocado, Pine, Cherry) next to it.
  4. Use Weak Fertilizer to grow the plant to the right stage (see plant in Shop).
  5. Let the Bees pollinate. Done!

Tips:

  • Use only one Beehive for simplicity, by putting the 2 empty Beehives in Warehouse. If they are not empty, move the Bees back to the Bee Skeps.
  • If you think you can manage it, to complete the Contest faster, place Beehives in opposite corners of the farm, and let each one work on a separate type of Honey.

Complete the Regular Honey Collection to keep the Langstroth Beehives and the Beekeper’s Stall, and to unlock the Halloween Barn Theme. (theme coming very soon)

Complete the Premium Honey Collection a SECOND time AND complete the Harvest Crops Contest, and you can unlock the Area 51 Themes for the Barn and Silo, complete with animations, and rays of light that go between the Barn and Silo, no matter where you place them on your farm. (theme coming soon)

Make all new 18 Honey types to win the Barn Halloween Theme!

3. Complete Autumn Quests

Complete all Autumn Quests to collect all 4 Lily varieties along the road, and complete this Contest!

This part has to be completed on your Farm (no BfM).

After you complete each Daily Autumn Quest (with multiple parts), you can claim your gift.

As usual, quests appear at the top-left of your screen, and this is the first subquest of the first “day of quests”. Please note that Autumn Event Quests show a “Autumn Event Quest” message when you hover over them, and have a red background.

This is the first of the Autumn Event quests that appear at the top-left part of your game.

In order for farmers who are level 22 or higher to complete the Event, we have temporarily lowered the ingredients levels to level 22. After the Event ends, the ingredients will revert to their initial level.

After you complete each Autumn Daily Quest, you can unlock either a new Lily flower, OR a bag of Fertilizer, alternatively! So, days 1, 3, 5, and 7 will have a Lily, and days 2, 4, and 6 will be Fertilizer.

Click “Claim Flower” after the first day ends, then click “Unlock” to start planting the first Lily.

Each of the 7 “days” of quests is made up of 3-4 smaller quests (usually in the well-known format: plant, harvest, collect, make). These subquests are numbered if you open up the quest and look at the top-right, under the quest’s description.

You get a new “day of quests” 20 hours after starting your previous daily quests. To see when your next day begins, open the Autumn Event, then click the ‘Open Contest’ button under the ‘Complete Autumn Quests (3)’ section.
