Welcome! This guide explains how the Deer and Fawn feature works on your farm.
It’s simple, calm, and made to be enjoyed at your own pace.
The TL;DR Guide
1️⃣ Feed the Deer 7 Times
- Each feeding needs 3 foods.
- Feeding order: Clover → Wheat → Alfalfa → Clover → Wheat → Alfalfa → Clover.
- Each feeding gives 300 XP and Salt or Pepper.
2️⃣ Finish All 7 Feedings Before the Fawn Grows Up
- Every feeding reduces the fawn’s grow timer by 20 hours.
- The 7th feeding sets the timer to max 20 hours.
- If the fawn matures before you finish all 7, you lose the final rewards.
3️⃣ Complete the 7th Feeding for the Special Reward
- You get: 300 XP, 1 Salt, 1 Pepper, and 1 Vibe Prune Juice.
- If you miss it, don’t worry — when the deer return with a new fawn, you get a fresh chance to try again.
The long guide
🌱 Getting Started
A Friendly Call
You’ll receive a call from Robert, who explains that a mother deer and her baby fawn
need your help. He gives you a Deer Trough to place anywhere on your farm.
Meeting the Deer
After placing the trough, a short scene plays where the mother deer and the young fawn appear.
for the first time. They’re hungry, so you’ll be asked to fill the trough with food.
🥕 Feeding the Deer and Fawn
To complete a feeding, you must add 3 pieces of the correct food to the trough.
The food must already be in your barn before you can add it.
The Feeding Order (7 Feedings)
The deer follow this 7-step feeding sequence:
- Clover
- Wheat
- Alfalfa
- Clover
- Wheat
- Alfalfa
- Clover (final feeding)
After each feeding, the deer and fawn rest for a while before they become hungry again.
You don’t need to be online at exact times — if you come back later, you simply continue the cycle.
🎁 Rewards for Each Feeding
Every completed feeding (all 3 food items added and eaten) gives you:
- 300 XP
- 2 Salt or 2 Pepper (chosen at random)
There are 7 feedings in total.
🌟 Special Rewards for the 7th Feeding
The final (7th) feeding gives extra rewards:
- 300 XP
- 1 Salt
- 1 Pepper
- 1 Vibe Prune Juice (special prize)
This is the only way to earn Vibe Prune Juice from the deer feature.
🕰 How Feeding Helps the Fawn Grow
Every time you complete a feeding, the baby fawn grows a bit faster. This is done with a
countdown timer that shows how long until the fawn becomes fully grown.
- Each completed feeding reduces the fawn’s countdown by 20 hours.
Special Rule for the 7th Feeding
- If the fawn has more than 20 hours left, the timer is set to 20 hours.
- If the fawn already has less than 20 hours left, the timer does not change.
This means the last feeding always guarantees that the fawn will become fully grown in
20 hours or less.
⏰ Important: Complete All 7 Feedings Before the Fawn Grows Up
To receive the special 7th feeding rewards — including the Vibe Prune Juice — you must finish
all 7 feedings before the fawn matures and leaves the farm on its own.
If the fawn grows up before you finish all 7 feedings:
- You will not receive the special 7th feeding rewards.
- You will not receive the Vibe Prune Juice.
- The feeding cycle ends early.
- The mother deer and the now-grown fawn will leave the farm normally.
But Don’t Worry – You Get Another Chance
When the deer return with a new baby fawn, the entire cycle starts fresh.
You get a new chance to complete all 7 feedings and earn the special 7th feeding rewards,
including Vibe Prune Juice.
🌿 The Fawn Growing Up and Leaving
Once the fawn finishes its growing time:
- The young deer walks off into the woods.
- After a short while, the mother deer also leaves.
- They stay away for a certain amount of time.
This is normal and part of the natural life cycle of this feature.
🌄 Time Away and Returning Home
While the deer are away:
- The trough shows a timer for when they will return.
- When the time ends, the mother deer returns with a brand-new baby fawn.
- A short scene plays showing their arrival.
- A new 7-feeding cycle begins.
You don’t have to do anything special — simply start feeding them again when they become hungry.
🦌 Deer Behaviors
When They’re Full
After eating, the deer and fawn walk calmly around the area near the trough.
When They’re Hungry
They wait beside the trough until you add the next set of food.
Going to Eat
Once the trough is filled with the correct 3 items, they walk over and enjoy their meal.
Interacting with the Fawn
You can click on the fawn for a little surprise:
- Sometimes it makes a cute sound.
- Sometimes it runs around excitedly.
