Baby Chicks and Mother Hen

The Baby Chicks and Mother Hen are the grand prize for finishing the Winter Event 2024.

What to do

  1. Click to add Leghorn Eggs to the Chicken Coop when you have a Broody Hen.
  2. Once the Baby Chicks hatch, find 5 worms around the farm and click on them to feed the Baby Chicks.
  3. Click on the transport crate with the grown chickens to ship it, then click on it when it returns to collect your reward.

How it works (TLDR, WIP)

  1. Have at least 1 Leghorn Chicken in a Chicken Coop.
  2. After some time (a day after last Baby Chicks hatch), a Leghorn Chicken will become a Broody Hen.
  3. Add 5 Leghorn Eggs to the empty nest inside the Chicken Coop where the Broody Hen is. The Broody Hen will sit on the eggs.
  4. After 16 hours, the Baby Chicks will hatch and begin walking around their mother, searching for food.
  5. Find 5 worms around the farm and click on them (we’ll help you do that). The Baby Chicks will run towards the worms and eat them. After 18 hours, the Baby Chicks will grow into adult chickens, regardless of whether you feed them worms. The worms simply speed up their growth (from 18 hours to 5 hours), and grant a reward.
  6. Collect your reward from the Truck: Once the Baby Chicks grow into chickens, they will be placed in a transport crate. Click on the crate, and it will be added to the Truck and sent to new owners, just like any other order. When the crate returns empty, you’ll receive your reward.

NOTES:

  • Because we know you’re going to ask us about it: Ideally, you should also have a Rooster on your farm. The Rooster doesn’t need to be in the same coop as the Hen. Roosters… move around.
  • If you don’t have a Rooster, look for Leghorn Egg crates with a Rooster icon at the Market Stands. Tyrone typically sells these almost every day, even if he doesn’t have a Rooster.
  • If you sell Leghorn Eggs and have a Rooster, the eggs in your Market Stand will display this icon. The icon is shown only to players who don’t have a Rooster, as it’s unnecessary for those who do.
